Alaska's Story
Alaska was living with her owner in an assisted living facility. When her owner was hospitalized, Alaska was left alone for two weeks until we were able to take her in.

Alaska is 10 years old according to her paperwork (although the veterinarian who performed her dental procedure believes she may be older).

She is a hyperthyroid cat who requires medication twice a day, but she's very easy to pill since she has no teeth.

Overall, Alaska is a very sweet senior lady. She is almost deaf and meows quite loudly. She loves attention and being petted. If you pet her and give her kisses, she wont stop purring. She also loves waking me up by licking my face, ears, and hands. Despite her age, she still plays like crazy with teaser toys. She especially enjoys spending time by a window, particularly if theres a cat tree or window perch where she can relax.

She's not a big fan of other cats and will start growling, meowing, or hissing if they approach her. However, she may be able to live with a calm, respectful cat if introduced slowly and properly.

DOB: 06/03/2016

Ready to make Alaska part of your family forever?
