Aileen's Story

Rainy days are better with a best friend, and I volunteer as tribute! My name is Aileen, and I'm a 1-year-old female Domestic Shorthair Mix with a friendly heart, playful spirit, and plenty of love to share. At 9.4 pounds, I'm the perfect cuddle buddy when the rain is tapping on the windows—but don't let my cozy side fool you, I also love to run, stretch my legs, and fill the house with happy zoomies!
I adore affection and attention, get along well with other cats, and I appear to be litter trained. Grooming? No problem! I'm up to date on my vaccinations, love positive rewards, and never say no to Churu treats, Friskies treats, wet food toppers, or tasty little chicken pieces.
When playtime rolls around, you'll find me chasing feather wands, batting around jingle bells and catnip toys, or trying to catch that mysterious laser pointer. Between adventures, I enjoy window watching, pouncing on toys, curling up in a cozy pet bed or soft blanket, and soaking up ear scratches, chin scratches, cuddles, and quiet moments with my favorite humans.
If your home could use a little extra warmth on rainy days, I'd love to meet you. Apply to adopt me today!
For more information on how to adopt, please call the shelter at 863 324 5227 to see if this pet is still available for adoption. Then come to the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 10:30 to 6 Tuesday through Friday and 10:30 to 4 on Saturday, closed 12 for lunch and the last Friday of every month.
