Agnes's Story
Agnes

Gosh, is this ever a sweet cat! Agnes is a 5-year old female domestic medium hair black/smoke with white.

Agnes is one of many cats and kittens who came from a place that was overwhelmed with cats, who were multiplying at a rapid rate. Once rescued, she spent some time in a foster home where she absolutely soaked up the love, nutrition and affection provided. Her foster mom describes her for us:

"Agnes is a quiet, sweet natured girl with TONS of love to give, just waiting for her person!! She came from a home with many cats and got along with them all. She is also okay with cat-friendly dogs. She has a gentle, easy-going personality. She's a calm cat who would do well in most homes - either with another pet or as an only. She's very affectionate - she leans into love. She is ready for a family of her very own where she'll be cherished, spoiled and loved."

Agnes has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, viral tested and microchipped. Before her rescue, she was exposed to fleas and developed a severe allergy to them. As a result, her fur is very sparse and thin on her back end. This is called FAD - flea allergy dermatitis. She's been treated for fleas and her fur is slowly growing back in. We know that in time, it will be thick and luxurious once again.

***

We are currently conducting in person adoptions on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 1-5pm (walk-ins welcome, but appointments prioritized). To reserve an appointment to adopt, please complete an application by visiting www.MeowCatRescue.org/adopt and submit to adopt@meowcatrescue.org
