Agent 47's Story

My name is Agent 47, and despite my tough-sounding name, I’m really just a scared young cat hoping for a second chance. I came to the Stafford County Animal Shelter on October 1, 2025, when I was about six months old. I was a stray, terrified and unsure of people. The staff here could see past my fear, they saw a sweet boy who just needs patience, kindness, and a little time to learn that humans can be trusted. I’m a black cat with a touch of white and long, beautiful white whiskers that make me look extra distinguished. I’m good with other cats and litterbox trained, but I’ll need a calm home where I can feel safe and come out of my shell at my own pace. I haven’t been neutered yet, so my adoption is limited to residents of Stafford County or bordering counties. You can meet me at the Stafford County Animal Shelter, 26 Frosty Lane, Stafford, VA 22554. Hours: Monday–Friday: 11:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.Saturday: 9:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. (Closed Sundays and holidays) Adoption Fee: $35 I may be shy right now, but with a patient and loving family, I know I can learn to trust again. I just need someone willing to see past the feaar, and give me the chance I deserve.
