She's full of playful spirit and will happily entertain you with her antics, then switch gears to shower you with sweet little kisses.<br/><br/>She does like affection on her own terms and isn't a big fan of being held, but she more than makes up for it by choosing to be close in her own adorable ways. Adora has experience living with other cats and young children, making her a great fit for a variety of homes.<br/><br/>If you're looking for a fun, loving cat with a bold personality and a soft spot for snuggles (her way!), Adora is ready to climb right into your heart-literally.<br/><br/>Ready to Adopt?<br/><br/>You have two options:<br/><br/>#1- VISIT IN PERSON<br/>Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available cats in the shelter. <br/>(Cats in foster care are not available for in-person visits.)<br/><br/>#2- ADOPT REMOTELY OR PLACE A 24-HOUR HOLD**<br/>If you're ready to adopt without meeting the cat first, or you'd like to place a non-refundable $25 hold to reserve a cat for 24 hours, just call or email us: (413) 781-4000 x 1 springfield@dakinhumane.org. We are often helping other clients when you call, but we return voicemails and emails within 24 hours.<br/><br/>**Holds are not available on Saturdays and during adoption events.<br/>--------------------------------------------<br/>All cat adoption fees include; <br/>-spay/neuter<br/>-rabies vaccine<br/>-current distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian)<br/>-FeLV/FIV blood test<br/>-microchip implanted & registered to the adopter<br/>-treatment of fleas/ticks/ear mites<br/>-veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin<br/>-free vet exam within 30 days after adoption with participating veterinarians<br/>Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your new pet.
