Acromion's Story

Ever wondered what that bony protrusion on your scapula was called? It's called the acromion and serves as the anchoring point for several muscles. The word has roots in the Greek word arkos, which means, "highest point."

Now meet Acromion the kitten- or Ro for short. We save the full government name for when he's in trouble. Ro is a brave little fellow that's always leading the charge and he drags his brothers along with him. He'll be shy at first, but his innate curiosity will overwhelm his caution and he'll soon be zooming all over the place. He likes to climb and perch on high places. Your shoulder, the back of a chair, etc. You can find him wrestling with his brothers, chasing a mouse toy around or napping in a variety of places. After a long day of exploring, his favorite spot to snooze is right next to his human, usually under your chin or on top of you.

Ro will do best being adopted with one of his brothers or in a house with other young cats that can keep him company. He has experience with dogs and will get along with a canine companion that can respect his personal space.

Acromion's estimated birthday is 3/23/26.

If you're interested in adopting any of our kittens please fill out the adoption application and please note which kitten you're interested in meeting: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSenKCEx6kQ-VU9okR7C70MDijsjDHV1VO_7XlBR33tlpsYrUQ/viewform

Please allow up to 48-72 hours after submitting an application to reach out regarding the adoption process - thank you!
