Acorn's Story
My name is Acorn. I am only a year old.
I am a pretty petite, brown tabby girl with a white bib and socks and big eyes.
I had an owner, but they were not able to keep me, so I am looking for a new person or family to be my forever home.
I am spayed, vaccinated for Rabies and Distemper and tested.
I am negative for FeLV but I am positive for FIV* (which is no big deal).

I am very friendly and affectionate.
I get along with other cats and gentle children. I am not sure about dogs.

*FIV stands for Feline immunodeficiency virus.
This means my immune system isn't as strong as a cat w/o FIV.
However, recent studies suggest that cats with FIV commonly live average life spans. People and other animals cannot catch this virus, and it is not spread to other cats through casual contact such as sharing food/ water bowls and grooming.
