Abraham & Angel's Story

Courtesy Posting - Not 9 Lives cats.

I have 2 senior cats that are in desperate need of help. I adopted these two a couple years ago when I had better living arrangements. They are purebred Birmans, about 12-13 years old with tendonectomies on the front feet. Both have to been fixed. M/F. they both will need shots and check ups, grooming, and possibly worming. I do feed a hairball control formula cat food, but have to supplement that with regular doses of hairball remedy-paste. The male, Abrahm, is a very social guy with a great personality. He loves giving love nips and chewing on hair. Angel is quite shy and doesn't warm up to people right away and when she does she likes affection on her terms. Neither really care to be held. A home without wild children would be best for Angel's sake. I live in southwest KS near the CO border east of Lamar. To honor their original owner's request, I would like to see them adopted out together in a final, forever home. She had to give them up when she went into a nursing home and they were her babies. Embarrassingly, I have really let her & them down. I will transport them if I can, I will try to help out as much as possible but I have little money, little time, and sadly little 'strength' at the moment - spread too thin. I just want them to have a better quality life and so far my attempts at giving them that have failed miserably! Contact Cathy prairie1973@gmail.com
