When we found her, she had a massive abscess along her neck and cheek and had clearly been sick and suffering for quite some time. After a very difficult beginning, a drain was finally placed, and Abby slowly began her journey back to health.<br/><br/>As Abby healed, we began to see the sweet soul who had been hiding beneath all that pain. Today, she is healthy, affectionate, and incredibly loving. After everything she endured outdoors, she still chooses to trust people—and all she wants now is the safety and comfort of a family of her own.<br/><br/>Abby does have hyphema in one eye, meaning there is blood present inside the eye. Her eye may look a little different, but it does not make her any less beautiful or deserving of love.
