Desi was rescued in New Haven by partner organization, before being transferred to BCC. He's very affectionate and likes to chat- this guy is seeking a good listener! Desi says: My life has been quite an adventure, one that has led me from New Haven to BCC! I'm now looking for someone who will let me start an adventure with them! Desi is FIV+, but don't let that worry you! He requires no special medications or diets, and he will be able to live comfortably alongside other cats without any issues. With proper care, FIV+ cats like Desi can live long, healthy lives just like any other feline.

We have cats and kittens ready for forever homes. Many of them have suffered very sad beginnings. Please open your heart and home to a homeless kitty! All of our cats and kittens have been: Medically checked by a veterinarian Tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus De-wormed and De-fleaed Vaccinated against Distemper and Rabies (over 3 months of age) Spayed/Neutered Adoptions take place by appointment. Adopters will need an approved application in order to adopt or leave a deposit. ADOPTION FEES $200 for each adult cat $250 for each kitten Your adoption fee helps defray only a portion of BCC’s total costs to foster, feed, provide for, and medically attend to the cats and kittens we rescue and shelter.
