Our Mission
Branford Compassion Club (BCC) is a non-profit feline rescue organization that serves not only Branford, Connecticut, but surrounding communities. The mission of the club is to provide for the feeding, shelter and care of homeless, abandoned and feral cats; to educate the public about the importance of spay/neuter population control, responsible pet ownership and kindness to animals; and to establish an ongoing community network to achieve these goals.
Branford Compassion Club was founded in November 1997, by a handful of compassionate Branford residents concerned with the growing population of feral cats. The residents united to form BCC to alleviate the hunger and suffering of feral cats in this community.
Adoption Policy
We have cats and kittens ready for forever homes. Many of them have suffered very sad beginnings. Please open your heart and home to a homeless kitty!
All of our cats and kittens have been:
Medically checked by a veterinarian
Tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus
Treated for parasites
Vaccinated against Distemper and Rabies (over 3 months of age)
Spayed/Neutered
Adoptions take place by appointment. Adopters will need an approved application in order to adopt.
Your adoption fee helps defray only a portion of BCC’s total costs to foster, feed, provide for, and medically attend to the cats and kittens we rescue and shelter.
Please visit our website to learn more and to complete the BCC adoption application form.
Please email questions to: branfordcompassionapplications@gmail.com.
Please note: We are located in CT and only adopt to CT homes.
If you have any questions about the form or the adoption process, please contact us.
