He would allow you to pull him out and pet him but he would run back to his carrier as soon as he could. Within a few days, he would relax and purr while getting petted but still stayed in his carrier and would not come out on his own for petting. A few more days and he began coming out to get petted. Now - he doesn't need his carrier. He wants to be on your lap. He loves being hugged. He loves getting kissed and lifts his lips to yours and gives love pats. He loves rolling over and getting his chest scratched. He loves playing with wand toys with you. His development has been amazing and it continues.
