But one day, Trooper's journey took an unexpected turn. Like so many racers before him, he was found grounded and injured. His leg broken, his wings tucked in tight with pain and confusion in his eyes. Luckily, a kind soul spotted him and brought him to safety. Since then, Trooper has been healing—not just his leg, but his spirit, too. Despite the hardship, Trooper has shown nothing but courage. He hasn’t lost that spark of joy when the sun hits his feathers, or when someone speaks to him softly. Trooper is now ready for his forever home—a calm, loving place where he can live out his days in comfort. Trooper is laid back, loves to snuggle with his foster family. He is very quiet, and prefers to stay in a couple favorite places rather than fly or walk around the house to explore. His foster family says “he is the definition of chill” and “such a sweet thing!”
