Shalidor made a decision. His ankle wasn’t healing on its own, the street wasn’t working out, and he had apparently done the math. So he walked into Natalie’s yard and waited to be noticed. That’s not luck, that’s a plan! He arrived with a right ankle that had fractured and healed badly without any intervention — the kind of injury that quietly limits a bird’s life until someone finally provides treatment.
