So does Scoops! <br/><br/>Scoops is a 29-year-old Goffin's cockatoo in search of a home that will offer him the patience and gentle understanding a goofy old man like him needs. Scoops has had a varied and somewhat mysterious past, so he's very blasé about some things (he likes to hold hands while his foster vacuums) but skittish about others (maybe wait until he's in another room to move a laundry basket). <br/><br/>Scoops is slow to warm up to new people, and initially prefers interactions to take place through the cage bars (his "force-field"), but once you've earned his trust, he will celebrate right along with you-- and nobody parties like a cockatoo!<br/><br/> Scoops does have a long history of feather destruction, so he will likely never be a proficient flier, but he's a champion climber and isn't afraid to come out of his cage to strut around the house looking for adventure-- this floor time is also when he'll step up for just about anyone, and then it's time for head scratches (his other favorite thing). <br/><br/>Scoops is a goofy li'l guy who's maybe not the brightest, but he will fill any home with laughter and love... and occasional shouts of "big bird!" as he shows off his wings.<br/><br/>Adoption fee: $400
