Sammy's Story

Sammy is a sweet boy who is a little shy, but is beginning to come out of his shell. Sammy is gentle when taking treats. He absolutely loves when our volunteers give him a little spray bath, it's his happy place-that's how we know when he finds his forever home he will really thrive.

If you’re interested in adopting one of our birds, please start by completing an adoption application. If adoption isn’t possible right now, there are many other meaningful ways to help—consider sponsoring one of our birds or volunteering your time. We care for our flock 365 days a year, and every bit of support makes a difference. For first-time bird owners, we strongly encourage volunteering with us before adopting. Spending time at the rescue helps you learn about parrot care, behavior, and commitment, and ensures the best possible match for both you and the bird.
