Please refrain from clicking the Start Your Inquiry button. We do not respond to adoption inquiries submitted by email, phone, or through the Start Your Inquiry button.

We will only respond to inquiries submitted through our official adoption application.

More photos and information coming soon.

This wonderful dynamic duo has been accustomed to being out of their cages and free-flighted for most of their lives. We are seeking an experienced adopter who will allow them to continue enjoying this freedom, as they are both very trustworthy. Their adoption fee is very reasonable for the right home.

Please do not call or email us in advance with questions. Instead, submit your adoption application, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Bullwinkle and Rocky were surrendered to us by a rural veterinary clinic that had no nearby Humane Society. We were told they belonged to a man who had passed away, leaving behind several animals and no contact information for family members.

We were honored to have the opportunity to name them. Without a doubt, these two are deeply bonded. We named the little Blue Quaker Rocky and the Orange-winged Amazon Bullwinkle.

Rocky, the Blue Quaker, loves to sit on your shoulder and gently rub his head against your neck once he gets to know you. Bullwinkle is much the same—he truly enjoys riding on shoulders. Both birds are semi-flighted and enjoy flying back and forth to a small tree we've set up for them. It's obvious they are accustomed to spending much of their day outside their cages.

Bullwinkle, the Orange-winged Amazon, is quite the talker and is completely devoted to Rocky. We were recently informed of their ages but received very little additional information about their previous owner. According to what we were told, Rocky is a 13-year-old Blue Quaker, and his inseparable companion, Bullwinkle, is a 16-year-old Orange-winged Amazon.

We are seeking an experienced home that will allow these two to continue flying to and from a small portable tree, just as they are accustomed to doing. They absolutely must be adopted together, as they truly thrive on each other's companionship.

Their adoption fee is very reasonable and includes both of their cages, along with our generous care package. While extensive experience isn't required, we are looking for someone with prior bird-handling experience and a home without young children.

Because they are bonded, they must be adopted together. Separating them would likely cause serious behavioral issues, and we have made a commitment to honor their bond by keeping them together.

Please refrain from emailing or calling us in advance with questions.

We appreciate your patience and promise to get back to you as soon as possible after reviewing your application.

It is important that you monitor your email and respond promptly when we contact you. We have a tight timeline, and time spent on applicants who are not ready to adopt may result in Bullwinkle and Rocky missing the opportunity to find their forever home with someone who is.

Please check your email regularly so we can coordinate your phone interview and, if approved, schedule your meet-and-greet.
