MEET OSCAR! This handsome parakeet is looking for a home with his partner, Rita. If you are looking to add a beautiful pair of parakeets to your home, stop by our Dedham shelter! For all birds, we would need to see a picture of their cage all set up and ready to go before they could go home. Oscar is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Oscar or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.

Animal Rescue League of Boston(Dedham branch)'s Adoption Policy

We require the following as part of the adoption process: - We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirement. - Adopter must be 18 years of age or older - A photo of the cage your pet will live in, if adopting a small animal or bird - Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier to bring home all adopted cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, and other small animals or birds of a larger size. All ARL Animal Care & Adoption centers offer new travel carriers for sale ($35 – $40 depending on size), along with gently used carriers, as supplies last ($10).
