Nico and Bosco's Story
HOW has nobody scooped up Bosco & Nico yet?!

Seriously... I don’t understand how these two gentlemen are still waiting for their forever home!

Bosco and Nico are so silly, so sweet, and such a special little duo. They are bonded, although they are not housed in the same cage. Their relationship is especially important because Nico is blind, and he really relies on Bosco’s presence to comfort him, guide him, and keep him company.

They have always been housed side-by-side, and they absolutely love having their cage doors open so they can wander around together. They chat back and forth throughout the day, and honestly... they are one of the funniest duos ever.

Nico does have some special accommodations that his forever home will need to be comfortable providing. Because he is blind, he needs a smaller cage with a cage-length perch that allows him to safely navigate from one side to the other without the risk of falling. His food and water need to be easily accessible as well.

Nico should not have toys inside his cage, because he can run into them and they can create a fall risk. He still enjoys being out and exploring safely with Bosco!

Both boys will step up onto a stick. Bosco will also transfer onto your hand once he is outside of his cage. Bosco is known to be aggressive with men, and both boys definitely prefer female handlers, so their future home should be prepared for that preference.

These two are estimated to be at least 30 years old, although they are very likely much older. They have so much personality and so much life left to live.

They are cutie sweetie lovebugs, and I have genuinely loved having them here at Soaring Spirits.

They don’t need to be separated. They don’t need to be “fixed.” They just need someone who understands them, respects their bond, and is willing to give them the safe, comfortable retirement they deserve.

Bosco & Nico are ready to find their forever family.

Could that be you? Or maybe you know someone who would be perfect for these two old gentlemen?

We are located in Beech Creek, Pennsylvania. We do not ship.

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeLsrp1MxZje3KVQSEbQDClBaRWIrIuM4FhXWi2_a8St9Gr7g/viewform?usp=dialog
