Murphy

Hi, I am Murphy. I am a 29 year old male Congo African Grey Parrot. I came to BNW after my owners passed away. Their family kept me for a few years, but didn't really have the time to spend with me. I was fairly tame in the past, but haven't been handled much recently. I don't step up, but when gently taken out with a towel I will sit on a lap or shoulder. Outside of the cage, I can be picked up more easily. I did get a spray bath the other day and enjoyed it. I have an extensive vocabulary and even speak some Polish. I have plucked some of my feathers. You can visit me at the BNW facility in Lenexa. Diet: Pellets, fruits & veggies, nuts or seeds as treats. Adoption fee: $1200.

Check out our website which explains our adoption process. Beak n' Wings adopts with the greater Kansas City area and up to 150 miles of the surrounding area.

We do not ship or trade birds. We do not adopt birds out for breeding. A contract is required at the time of adoption. Adoption fees are not refundable, except as stated in the contract.
