Moon is approximately eight years old possibly a little older. He is semi-tamed. We currently have a volunteer assigned to work with him, and he has come a long way. <br/>He will be a great addition to any family with the time, patience, and training. Moon enjoys playing with a variety of toys. He is on a diet of pellets, fresh veggies, fruit, and seeds and nuts as occasional treats. <br/><br/>Cockatiels are great for the beginner bird owner. They are hardy little parrots that can live 15-20yrs. They love attention, can be trained to do a variety of tricks, and are capable of whistling many different tunes.
