Hi, I am Merlin 2, I got the name because my previous owner had another bird named Merlin in the past. I am thought to be a male and I am a Blue Front Amazon, my exact age isn't known. I came to BNW a few years after my previous owner passed away. His wife cared for me until she developed health problems herself. I spent about 15 years in a sanctuary before going to him. He worked with me a long time, and had just gotten me to step onto a hand. Since his passing no one has been able to handle me. I talk and I sing, and I seem to like it when someone pays attention to me but I will try to bite if handled. I need an experienced owner who is willing to spend some time teaching me to trust a new person. Diet: Pellets, fruits & veggies, nuts or seeds as treats.
