You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.<br/><br/>Hatch Date: Marley - 2019 and Tequila - 2018?<br/><br/>Marley is a 6-year-old female Pineapple Conure (has laid eggs)<br/>Tequila is a 7-year-old male yellow Parakeet.<br/>They have been together for a very long time.<br/><br/>Marley and Tequila are a pretty awesome bonded pair that will be adopted together.<br/>Both birds are hand-tamed, but Tequila loves to fly around more than hang with you.<br/><br/>Marley is hand-tame but requires lots of patience and understanding as you work with her.<br/>She needs some out-of-cage time for a bit before you try to have her step up.<br/>She is a typical Conure, who will run all over you if you let her ;)<br/>She can be nippy at times and needs someone familiar with Conure behavior.<br/>She enjoys her alone time with her foster mom.<br/><br/>Tequila is more independent but will call out if you take Marley away for any length of time.<br/>Professional flyer Tequila is, and sometimes hovers like a helicopter :D<br/><br/>They enjoy their out-of-cage time in the morning and evening.<br/>Both are flyers; however, they have become accustomed to hanging out in and on their<br/>cage and only take an occasional flight for exercise.<br/><br/>Marley loves being with her person and seems to be more of a woman’s bird,<br/>Yet will also tolerate men.<br/>Tequila loves to socialize with other birds.<br/>We are looking for a home with some other (smaller) feathered friends that<br/>would love to have a new friend visit on occasion :)<br/><br/>The foster home has other small birds, and Tequilla is thrilled to visit them on their cages.<br/>Tequila likes to try and make new friends with just about everyone.<br/>We make sure Tequila is only around other like-sized birds.<br/><br/>We’ve discovered that Marley needs a solid structure in order not to get overstimulated, which leads to nipping and moodiness.<br/>With lots of patience and time, she will form a long-lasting bond with her new owner.<br/><br/>Marley is very inquisitive and a smart Conure for sure!<br/>This pair will make a loving addition to any bird-loving home.<br/>Both Marley and Tequila are hearty eaters.<br/>They eat all sorts of healthy fruits and veggies, pellets, and get small seeds.<br/><br/>These two are being fostered in Leonardo, NJ.<br/>For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA.<br/>We have no central location.<br/>You must be within driving distance to make required visits and to adopt.<br/>We will NOT ship our birds.<br/>As our adoptable birds are living in volunteer homes or their family home,<br/>We only allow approved applicants to meet our birds.<br/>If interested in meeting Marley and Tequila, please review our adoption policies<br/>and complete an adoption application on our website, ftlob.rescuegroups.org.
