Hello! My name is Mango, and I am a 2-year-old Sun Conure.<br/>If you're looking for a bird who wants to be your constant companion, I might be the perfect match! I am a very affectionate little guy who loves to cuddle. My favorite place to be is snuggled under your chin, sitting on your shoulder, or cuddling by your neck while we watch TV together. I have absolutely no concept of personal space, and honestly, I prefer it that way! I also love giving kisses and can say "oh oh!"<br/>I absolutely love attention and want to be the center of your world. Because of this, I am looking for a home without dogs, cats, or other birds. I don't enjoy sharing my favorite person and am happiest when I can soak up all the attention myself.<br/>As lovable as I am, like all birds, I may occasionally nibble, but I have never truly bitten my foster mom. I also do not step up onto a finger, but I do step up onto a rope perch.<br/>I love being out of my cage and spending time with my person. Whether I'm riding on your shoulder, supervising from the top of my cage, or cuddling during TV time, I just want to be wherever you are. I also enjoy playing with toys, especially when my person joins in the fun. Once I get comfortable with a toy, I have a great time shredding and exploring it.<br/>Because I thrive on companionship, I need a home where someone is around most of the day. I would do best with someone who works from home, is retired, or otherwise has the flexibility to let me spend most of my day out of my cage. When I am left in my cage for long periods, I become stressed and vocal. When I am with my person, I am happiest and much quieter.<br/>Like most Sun Conures, I can be loud, so I will not be adopted into apartments or condos. One of my funniest sounds is barking like a dog! I was raised with dogs in my previous home, so I sometimes still mimic them. The good news is that once bedtime comes, I sleep great and won't make a peep until you uncover me in the morning.<br/>My favorite treats are apples and nutriberries, but I will happily eat just about anything I'm offered. <br/>If you are looking for a cuddly little shadow who wants to be involved in everything you do and will happily spend hours by your side, I would love to meet you.
