You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hatch Date: May 1997Kono is a DNA tested Female Goffins Cockatoo, 28 years old Diagnosed with PDD - Avian Borna Virus.SPECIAL NEEDS This bird is a sweetheart.Not your average hand tame bird, she will however allow your to chicken grab her ;)Seems to prefer females, but is not aggressive towards men as we have seen.She is going to need someone with experience, and no other birds in the home, unlessalso PDD positive. She will not do well in a Condo, Apartment, or Townhouse type of residence.She likes to come down of the cage and wander around the house, so will needconstant supervision when out of the cage, and no other animals that will be a treat to her well-being.She is NOT on any medication at this time.But may require some in the future.She eats an extremely well, fresh and pelleted diet.NO seed.
