Meet Khaleesi

Khaleesi is a very lovely young dove that we are estimating to be about 2 years old. She came to us in rough shape missing some of her tail feathers and is recovering well here at the shelter. She has grown almost all of her feathers back and is becoming more lively each and every day she is here! She has lived with another dove in the past who she was not getting along with, so it would be best for her to be the only bird in her enclosure. Khaleesi used to be a free range flyer in her previous home and would love to have the option for some out of cage time if given the chance. We are asking that the person who adopts this love bug does have experience with doves or a similar breed, since she would really benefit from having an owner who knows how to handle her.
