Jaco is a 20 year old male Eclectus. Like many of his species, feather damage is common. Diet is a major factor since the Eclectus have a very unique digestive system. He is a great eater (of the foods he most needs) and bathes daily to the sound of the vacuum. These have all been major improvements to his quality-of-life.
