Gordie's Story

Meet Gordie! This sweet lady was discovered hiding under a car as a squeaking juvenile, dragging an injured wing to keep up with her flock. She didn’t put up a fight when scooped up—it’s like she knew she was finally safe.
An old, healed wrist break means she flies a little lopsided and needs a safe indoor life, but she enthusiastically flaps her way up to her favorite perches. Quirky, lanky, and resembling a lovable tiny goblin, Gordie is a soot-gray beauty with black racer stripes and cute white eye dots.

She transitioned to indoor luxury in five minutes flat. Endlessly curious, affectionate, and friendly, she loves to step up on human hands for peanuts, making delighted "squonks" and coos. Apart from a light, periodic feather trim so her droopy wing doesn't catch on the ground, she is incredibly low-maintenance and ready for her forever family!
