Goose and Maverick

We are Goose, Turquoise green cheek conure, thought to be male, and Maverick a<br/>Pineapple green cheek conure, thought to be female. Our ages are unknown. Maverick is much more used to humans, while Goose is a scaredy-cat. We came to BNW through an local animal control, so full history isn't known.<br/><br/>We are friendly birds, but not trained to step up or used to being handled<br/>yet. Please use positive reinforcement with us to get us used to human<br/>hands. Don't chase us around or force us to come out of our cage. At home<br/>we would come out of our cage and hang out on top when the door is open and<br/>go back in with some gentle encouragement. We have been through a lot together and would like stay with each other.<br/><br/>We transitioned from all seeds to Zupreem natural pellets in no time. Our<br/>favorite treats are pieces of walnuts, safflower and sunflower seeds. We<br/>also like apples.<br/><br/>With a few weeks of consistent training in our new home we will probably be<br/>very fun birds. Diet: Pellets, fruits & veggies, nuts or seeds as treats.
