Dmitri

Dmitri was found as a stray so unfortunately we do not have any history. No genetic testing has been done so we do not know if Dmitri is male or female and we also do not know age but seems to be young. Dmitri is very social and although we don't know where he came from, it's pretty clear he was not kept in a cage very often. He loves being held and gets very frustrated when he is in his cage. He will sit on top of his cage but prefers to be sitting on your shoulder or hand. He loves fruits and various other snacks but can be a little picky about his seed. Just like most conures, he can bite pretty hard sometimes, especially if he's frustrated. Dmitri will need an experienced bird owner and someone that is able to spend a lot of time with him so that he is able to get the exercise and enrichment that he needs.
