Coco

Coco is a 37 year old male blue and gold macaw. He eats a variety of healthy foods, including fresh vegetables and fruits. As food motivated as he seems, we think he's a great candidate for training, though! He has been around other macaws all his life, so might be good company for someone with other large birds or another male macaw. He will dance when there is a good beat and when the mood strikes him. He would also do well in a behavior-savvy home.<br/><br/>For over 30 years, Coco lived in a super sized indoor/outdoor aviary (as big as a building). He's now in one of our 80" wide adoption center cages, but this still seems small to him. He loves to come out of course, but going back in is a challenge. Do you have other macaws that live in an open space environment?
