This sweet little guy has had the ultimate glow-up thanks to our volunteer superstar Misty. She made it her mission to convince CJ that humans are pretty great—and now? Total besties. He went from “Hmm, not sure about you” to “Oh good, you’re here—snack time?” in record speed. CJ greets every day like it’s his personal party. He loves crunchy treats, cheerful chats, and being told he’s handsome (which he absolutely is). His story is proof that a little patience + a lot of kindness = a whole flock of love. We’re already practicing our “we’ll miss you” faces for the lucky family who gets to take this goofy, lovable boy home. Could that be you? We care for our flock 365 days a year, and every bit of support makes a difference. For first-time bird owners, we strongly encourage volunteering with us before adopting. Spending time at the rescue helps you learn about parrot care, behavior, and commitment, and ensures the best possible match for both you and the bird.
