Chicky is a beautiful DNA confirmed male lovebird who was rescued from the outdoors, so age is unknown. Suspected to be a pet store escapee, as his owner was not able to be found. Due to this, Chicky what you would call a hand tame bird, but he loves to eat millet from your hand. He has shown no signs of being aggressive at all, and fills the house with chirps! Chicky is flighted and loves to fly and is very good at it. He loves to around during the day, he will even chirp all while flying to let you know how happy he is! He loves to communicate with other birds and is very curious. Chicky would do great paired with either another male lovebird, or in a household that would allow him to fly to his hearts content! Chicky would be an amazing addition to bring liveliness to any home! Chicky has been disease tested for PBFD and Chlamydia. He is currently being fostered in Wayne, New Jersey. He will only be adopted into a forever home within driving distance. We will NOT ship our birds. For the Love of Birds is a group of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA We do not have a central location.
