She is very friendly, loves to chat, and will even sing along if you sing to her. In fact, her vocabulary seems to grow every day, and she delights in being included in whatever is going on around her.<br/><br/>Although she doesn't step up on hands, Cheerio hops right onto a towel with ease and is happy both inside and outside of her cage. She uses her shower perch confidently and enjoys regular baths every other day to support her skin health and feather growth. While she hasn't shown much interest in toys yet, she does enjoy rubbing her beak on her sand perch and spending quiet time with her people.<br/><br/>Cheerio is social and loves attention but also does well on her own. She isn't bothered by the presence of other birds and could fit into a home with or without them. Because of her specialized diet and her background, she will do best with an adopter who has some prior bird experience and is ready to help her continue blossoming.<br/><br/>This incredible girl may have been called "Ruby" in her past life - she repeats the name often with a cheerful voice.
