Hello! I am Bugs, and I am a Black Capped Caique. I am 3 years old, my sex is unknown. I am a typical Caique. I can be sweet and loving, but I can also be unpredictable. Although I am not a large bird, I need an experienced bird owner who can give me boundaries. I can be a one person bird. I am busy, busy and very playful. I will make you laugh with my silliness. I need attention and things to keep my occupied. My favorite treats are bananas and sunflower seed, but not too many of them for my health. Diet: Pellets, fruits & veggies, nuts or seeds as treats. Beak n' Wings, Inc.'s Adoption Policy

Because most of our birds are in private homes, they are only able to receive visitors by appointment at our facility at our facility at 9010 Rosehill Rd in Lenexa, KS, usually on weekends. We also take them to outside events. If you would like to know where we will be taking them, please visit Beak n Wings, Inc. on Facebook. Our adoption process does take some time, generally a few weeks. As an all-volunteer group we have limited people power and most of our volunteers have full-time jobs as well. Our priority is not to have a speedy process, but a careful one that ensures proper placement of our companion birds.
