Most pigeons wouldn’t have stood a chance, but Buffalo isn’t “most pigeons.” With patience, care, and a whole lot of grit, he’s healed into a strong flyer once again. His leg may tell the tale of his past hardships, but his wings prove just how resilient he really is. Buffalo is bold, determined, and full of spirit—the kind of bird who reminds you what survival looks like with feathers on. Buffalo is now looking for a forever home where he’ll be loved not for the races he lost or won, but for the life he fought so hard to keep!

Great Lakes Pigeon Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our adoption fee is $40 for a single pigeon or a married pair of pigeons. We offer shipping for an additional charge. Our adoptable pigeons have received necessary medical care to ensure they are strong and healthy. Adoption fees go toward these expenses and toward rescuing and caring for other pigeons.
