My owner passed away a few years ago and I became a resident of AHW. I was sick with aspergillosis when I first came in but after several months on antifungals I got a clean bill of health! I am syringe trained too so it was easy to give me meds! I like to play with some toys, I’m given a lot and get to choose what I like. I now eat a healthy diet of fresh fruits and veggies as well as pellets, freeze dried fruits/veggies and nuts. No colored or sugared pellets for me, make me pluck! I’m really good while taking a shower, you can even take me in the shower with you. I don’t like to be touched except on my terms so. I’m not a cuddly bird, but that’s okay but i love to hang out with people. I do some talking and laughing.
