Binx's Story
Binx is a young survivor of the racing industry with a story that speaks volumes—especially when he decides to coo about it! Just a year old, Binx was found with a tragically fractured ankle after the racing band around his leg became crushed, injuring the joint beneath it. It’s a heartbreaking example of how these birds are pushed beyond their limits by the racing industry — but Binx didn’t give up.
Thanks to skilled rehabilitation, Binx made a full recovery. For two weeks, his ankle was splinted while he quietly endured treatment with impressive stoicism. As his body healed, so did his confidence. By the end of his rehab, Binx had started coo-dancing—clearly letting the world know that he had things to do and opinions to share.
Binx is still young, and looks forward to bonding closely with his very own person who will take the time to get to know him. He’s already shown a spark of playfulness and a desire for connection—and he’s just getting started!
