Bailey and Lula are a bonded pair of M/F Senegals, both about 25 years old.
Bailey is male, and Lula is female.

Bailey has darker markings around his eyes and more orange on his stomach.
The previous guardian told us that Bailey was much less social than Lula.
But he has come out of his shell in his foster home.
He loves hanging out on your shoulder, and if he’s comfortable with you, he might let you scratch his head.

Lula has more yellow on her stomach and is the more outspoken one of the pair.
Everything is on her terms; if she doesn’t feel like stepping up, she will back away or warn you not to come closer by opening her beak.
But she also loves being on your shoulder and is a very adventurous eater.

Neither bird has shown any signs of aggression, but they will let you know if you’re doing something they don’t like.

Neither bird has shown any signs of aggression, but they will let you know if you’re doing something they don’t like.
For this reason, Bailey and Lula would not be suited for young children who may not understand their body language.
Senegals can also be very loud when they want your attention, so this pair may not work for apartment dwellers.

If you have the time to give these two the attention they deserve, they will make amazing companions
with their social and outgoing personalities.
