MAPLE's Story

Adoption fee: $100 for the pair Maple arrived to us with her companion, Hamilton. They were both living as indoor pigs and shared spaces with kids and dogs. Maple adjusted quite well to our Pig Barn and has been spending lots of time outside. She is a very sweet girl who enjoys human interaction. Maple does know how to wear a pig harness but would need a reintroduction to it. Maple would love to find a home with her buddy Hamilton. All pigs need room to roam, graze, root, and wallow. A proper pig proof enclosure and fencing is a must with access to an indoor space for shelter as needed. Pigs are generally pretty temperature sensitive creatures and tend to especially dislike the cold. Extra bedding and insulation should be provided during the colder months and access to shaded areas and a wallow are musts for the warmer months as it is the only way for pigs to cool themselves down!
