HANK's Story
Meet Tank and Hank! These two shy pigs are looking for a home with someone who understands—or is excited to learn about—proper pig care! They can be a bit shy at first, so they’ll appreciate patient, gentle people who will give them plenty of time to settle in and build trust. Pet pigs need secure, spacious housing with protection from extreme weather, a clean and comfortable sleeping area, and plenty of room to explore and root. They thrive with daily enrichment such as rooting boxes, scattered treats, sturdy toys, and opportunities to forage, as pigs are highly intelligent and can become bored without enough mental stimulation. A balanced mini-pig/pig-specific diet, fresh water, appropriate vegetables, routine hoof care, and regular veterinary care are also important. Because pigs are social animals, companionship is valuable. We’re looking for some pig-loving adopters who can provide these shy kiddos with the patience, enrichment, space, and care they need to thrive!
