BOSSY BETTY's Story
~Oink oink! My name is Bossy Betty! ~ I love my spa time and spend my free time in the mud. I love treats, especially mango. ~ I am blossoming into a social butterfly and making new friends each day. A light scritch and the back of my ears is my favorite way to be greeted. Type of home I'm looking for: ~We don't like being lonely. Pigs are social animals, so we must be adopted in pairs or join a home that already has another pig. ~We're bigger than most people expect. While some areas have rules limiting pigs to under 125 lbs, many healthy potbellies grow to around 200 lbs (or more if overfed). Please check local regulations before adopting. ~Location matters! Your home must be zoned to allow pigs. ~ Exterior decorating! Our yard needs a shady shelter like a large pet house, a muddy spot and a kiddie pool or water feature to cool off in. Digging and rooting are part of who we are, so delicate landscaping and decorative rock areas should be avoided in our space. ~We have special dietary and care needs. We thrive on potbelly pig food and need regular hoof trims and tusk maintenance. ~Dogs and pigs are recommended to be kept seperate. ~My adoption fee is: Waived
