Zoey/Paulie, Sid (cream), Zim-(black top ear) , Poker (Black Dumbo)<br/><br/>This quartet of boys have been blended to form a happy little crew! With late December birthdays they are young and busy learning all about the world and are quickly gaining trust and confidence! Two are friendly to the point of hilarity as they rush forward to greet you any time of the day! <br/><br/>Zoey (originally Paulie) (PEW) is the primary greeter and enthusiastic explorer…if he were human he likely would be the social director on a cruise ship! Always up for a cheerful hello and a snack, he’ll happily ride on your shoulder all around the house. He’s done wonders to boost the courage of the rest and is very closely bonded with Zim…the pair are pretty hilarious negotiating who will collect the snacks to save for later (Zim) and who would prefer to just chow down (Zoey) <br/><br/>Zim is a black top ear rat with an adorable wee strip of white that extends slightly above his nose. We lovingly call him “Rapscallion” because he’s a bit of a hoarding pirate! He loves to take the treats and stash them away…returning to the door over and over again! He’s also learning the joy of a shoulder perch and often joins Zoey in adventuring out and about. He’s still gaining confidence during free roaming time but follows Zoey’s lead. <br/><br/>Sid is a cream colored boy with a smudgy forehead…that looks like he forgot to wash! He’s shy but quickly coming around. Squirmy when handled he’s still learning to trust but will eagerly collect a treat and retreat. We are currently doing lots of short “pick up, tickle the belly, return” sessions which is really working well for him! He will come back over and over….just isn’t ready for longer handling sessions yet. He’s smart and enjoys puzzle feeders and other brain gaims<br/><br/>Poker- Poker is an adorable black dumbo boy who is the shyest of the group. He will <br/>poke his head out from hides and hammocks but quickly retreats to asses the situation. WIth time he approaches the door and collects a treat…cherrios seem to be his preferred. We believe that he will likely remain shy but is gentle and well bonded with the rest of the crew.
