Violet & Vera's Story

Meet Violet and Vera the young female rats estimated to be about 6 months old. They were surrendered back to a local petstore after a month of being at their home. The petstore doesn't take back animals after a certain amount of time but they decided to place them out as free. In hopes the wrong person didn't take these girls as free food for a reptile, we had a volunteer reach out and bring them to us. They are still small, young, and have lots of life. Like most females they are very active and outgoing. They do very well with handling too. Happy Horizon Hamster Haven's Adoption Policy

All pets in our care are healthy unless specified. We will not adopt out any sick or injured pets until they are seen by a vet and treated. Pets with disabilities will have clear indications on their availability post and I will make sure owners are aware so they can take care of any special requirements. All pets have a 10 day health guarantee, if you notice anything wrong with your pets within this span after adoption, you can return them for a full refund and I will take them to get vet care. Please be aware of possible zoonotic diseases that rodents can spread to people. Our pets are healthy to the best of our knowledge. We are not responsible for any illness, allergies, or injury causes by your adopted pet.
