Theodore and Josiah's Story

Introducing Theodore and Josiah, two handsome orange-and-white piggie boys who are about 8 months old and looking for their forever home.

Theodore, a short-haired piggy, firmly believes he is the main character—and honestly? Same. Theo lounges and graciously greets volunteers in exchange for lettuce and head scratches. It’s a system that works very well for him.

Josiah, his Abyssinian bestie, is a bit more shy and cautious, but he’s never far from Theodore’s side during their daily shenanigans. If Theodore is happily munching lettuce, then Josiah is usually close behind—someone’s gotta do the taste testing first, after all. Josiah is also a big fan of zoomies, which can make him a little tricky to scoop up at times, but once he’s in your arms he settles in for pets and gentle hugs.

Interested in adopting Theodore and Josiah? You will be coming to our Animal Care and Education Center, located at 2801 Pulaski Highway in Edgewood, MD.

The adoption fee for a pair of spayed female guinea pigs is $120. The adoption fee is a donation meant to help us offset part of the cost of caring for the animals you are adopting while they are with us, including veterinary exam, spay or neuter surgery, fecal check, food, bedding, etc. Collection of adoption fees helps us to continue to help animals in need.
