Taki

Meet Taki! Taki is a male hybrid dwarf hamster that's estimated to be about 6 months old. He was rescued from a tiny crittertrail cage and, upon intake, has a lot of emotions. He occasionally nips at me and will throw hands when I'm pushing boundaries. Small cages can cause hamsters to be very stressed and irritable. They have to keep their feelings pent up inside because they dont have any mental stimulation or way to get their energy out. He's been doing better since being at the rescue, and truthfully, I think with a large, suitable, enriching enclosure, he will open up and feel a lot better. He has some spice but still loves to come out when he hears you rummaging around his enclosure or feeding him. I'm sure he would enjoy playtime in a playpen as well.<br/>Taki needs a loving family to love him unconditionally.
