Sugar Coat's Story
This tiny little face belongs to Sugar Coat. Sugar Coat is a male, albino mouse who was born around October 2025. He's quiet and kind when handled. But we're not going to sugarcoat this (see what we did there?). You will probably never see Sugar Coat unless you're really lucky. He's the kind of personality that, when asked "what's your ideal date," he answers "my ideal date is not going on one." He prefers to come out and do his mouse things when the house is dark and quiet. If you pull out some bedding in his house to see if he's home, he'll pop his head out, offendedly squint at you, and then stuff more bedding in the hole - essentially slamming the door in your face. But like all our tiny creatures, Sugar Coat deserves a home that will not put any expectations on him and will love him for who he is. Even if he's that friend who's somehow always "busy" when you ask if they want to hang out.

Due to typical male mouse behavior, Sugar Coat will need to live alone in his aquarium to prevent any territorial fighting. A single mouse requires a 20-gallon aquarium minimum (though bigger is always better), an 8 inch or larger hard bottom exercise wheel and 6+ inches of bedding.

Sugar Coat's adoption fee is $10. Adopters must be at least 18 years old.
