Spot & Sunny's Story
TO MEET SPOT & SUNNY:
Please fill out an application here:
https://rescued-treasures.com/adopt-a-small-animal-application/

These guinea pigs are being fostered in Rochester, NY, by Rescued Treasures Pet Adoptions. We are not a shelter, but a foster home-based rescue, and these animals are all housed individually with foster families.

Please review our application carefully and ensure everyone in the family is ready for the lifelong responsibility and commitment of a family pet.

Spot and Sunny are two charming senior boys (around 6 years old) looking for a cozy forever home to spend their golden years together. While they may be seniors, they’re still active, curious, and very enthusiastic about mealtime!

They came to our rescue after being surrendered due to a child in the home developing allergies. When Spot arrived, he had some balance issues caused by arthritis related to scurvy. Thanks to a proper diet and a simple once-daily pain medication, he’s now feeling much better and getting around well.

These boys are more on the independent side and would do best with someone who appreciates guinea pigs for who they are—happy to observe, care for, and spoil them rather than expecting constant handling. They’re food-motivated, enjoy their daily routines, and will happily come out for veggies and treats. With patience and consistency, they’ve been showing more confidence in their caretakers.

Spot and Sunny are bonded and must be adopted together. They’re looking for a calm, loving home where they can be comfortable, well-fed, and cherished for the rest of their lives.

If you’re searching for sweet, low-key companions with big personalities, Spot and Sunny may be the perfect match!

PLEASE NOTE: Spot & Sunny will only be adopted out in Rochester, NY and surrounding counties.
