Shamrock

Shamrock is a sweet gerbil. She was an owner surrender, and we were told upon surrender that she is almost two years old. This makes her a senior gerbil even though gerbils do have longer life expectancies than hamsters and rats. She came in a single gerbil and should not be placed with other gerbils, mainly because she was bullied by another gerbil causing scarring on her tail. We were told she seems much happier living alone now. Like most gerbils Shamrock is active, LOVES deep bedding, cardboard tunnels, a 10" NIteangel wheel, sand bath and an interesting cage to explore. At the moment Shamrock is being housed in equivalent size cage to a 40-gallon aquarium.<br/><br/>Shamrock is being fostered in Macungie, PA.<br/><br/>Gerbils can make cute and fun little pets, but as any pets do, they require some special care.
