Ryder and Finn's Story

Ryder is a recent intake from the Basilica crew. He’s a big chonky boy but is very clearly lonely after being separated from his wife and kids. He is super curious and loves to explore once he warms up to you. We’re working on gaining his trust and he’s learning to love carrots and lettuce. Awesome news, Ryder made a new tiny friend in Finn! These boys are bonding incredibly fast and can't wait to meet their new family and get settled. Finn is just a youngster and will need somone patient to teach him the ropes. Their adoption fee is $40. All approved adopters must provide proof of a guinea pig safe cage that is at least 8 square feet with no wire bottoms or ramps.

Once you have *completely* filled out the adoption application, please allow us 7-10 days to process your application. We DO check references and require proof of an appropriately sized cage prior to approving any application. Once you are approved, we will invite you to visit the rescue to meet your potential new friend(s) and see if they are a good fit for you. We also allow Meet & Greets with your own current piggie(s) that may be looking for a new friend!
